E-COMM WEBSITE, תשע נשמות

Tesha Neshamot, an indie book publisher and a cornerstone of Tel Aviv’s literary scene, needed a website redesign to reflect their growth and expertise. Known for publishing Israeli authors and an extensive catalogue of translated works, they wanted a site that felt modern and polished while showcasing their colorful books. As someone who loves literature, I was thrilled to take on the challenge and help elevate their online presence.

Understanding the Brand
Tesha Neshamot’s identity is deeply tied to its dual role as a publisher and a book-and-wine store. They wanted a website that would echo their passion for literature while feeling aligned, precise, and museum-like in its presentation. I focused on designing a space that was both functional and inspiring, encouraging exploration while reflecting their status in the literary world.

The Brief
To bring their vision to life, I designed key components that added interactivity and character to the site. The homepage includes a dynamic banner for offers and events, alongside a literary quote feature that refreshes on click and links directly to the books featured.
The catalogue page was reimagined with a filtering system that highlights each author’s biography, photo, and available works, making the browsing experience richer and more personal.
I also introduced a sticky, bookmark-shaped navigation bar for consistent accessibility and used a color palette inspired by their latest book covers to tie the design to their brand identity. The result was a vibrant, cohesive design that celebrates their passion for literature.

Process: Wires, Old Iterations

Elevating the Online Experience
The final design successfully elevated Tesha Neshamot’s online store, creating a space that feels as knowledgeable and vibrant as their physical presence. The team was thrilled with how the site brought their vision to life, blending creativity with precision. For me, this project was a perfect mix of design and storytelling, and it was rewarding to collaborate with a client who shares a love for books.
