BOUNCE TO BEAT WEBSITE

Elina is a professional dancehall and table-tennis instructor who needed a site to showcase her skills and bring in clients for workshops. She asked me to design and build her site from scratch, and I couldn’t wait to get started. Using Readymag (code-free!), I helped her create a bold, playful online presence that reflects the energy and rhythm of her work.

Understanding the Brand
The brand, “Bounce to Beat,” was inspired by the motion of bouncing—whether it’s the rhythm of a table-tennis ball or the energy of a dance move. This idea shaped the entire look and feel of the site. I blended roller-derby culture with Y2K aesthetics, using a palette of light lavender, green, charcoal, and cream to keep the design playful but polished. It’s a bold identity that captures Elina’s dynamic style.

Adding Magic with Movement
To bring the “Bounce to Beat” vibe to life, I added little details that move with you as you scroll—stars and flowers that rotate, adding a sense of rhythm and playfulness. These small touches make the site feel alive, almost like it’s dancing along with you.

Two Landing Pages for Two Passions
Elina teaches both dancehall and table tennis, so I designed two focused landing pages—one for each. Each page highlights her skills while maintaining a consistent look across the site, making it easy for visitors to explore her offerings.

Functionality Meets Design
Beyond the visuals, I helped Elina set up an online service for receiving workshop requests, ensuring her site was not only beautiful but also functional. I also selected her fonts and designed a custom logo, tying every element together into a unified identity.

The final site reflects Elina’s style and the breadth of what she offers. It’s bold, interactive, and user-friendly—a perfect fit for her work. Seeing her excitement about the finished project was a highlight, and it felt great to deliver a site that helps her stand out and grow her business.
